What do I need to go with my tuxedo? Do you sell tuxedo shirts, shoes, bow ties, etc?Updated an hour ago
Wearing a tuxedo soon? Make sure you have these items:
- Tuxedo Shirt - Whether the front is plain or pleated, go with French cuffs and swap studs for buttons.
- SuitShop's tuxedo shirt comes with black studs for the front, but cufflinks are sold separately.
- Cufflinks- You'll need cufflinks to hold the cuffs of your tuxedo shirt together.
- New to cufflinks? Be sure to check out our step-by-step guide on how to wear them here.
- Cummerbund or Suspenders - You don't have to wear either, but you can't wear both!
- SuitShop's tuxedo pants come with buttons already attached to the inside of the pants for suspender-wearing. (Our suit pants do not come with buttons attached but this can be added on easily by a tailor or dry cleaner).
- SuitShop's tuxedo pants also do not have the satin side stripe down the side of the pants. We removed this detail after customer feedback for a more modern and updated look. If you prefer the look of a satin side stripe this can be made for you through our Made-to-Order process. Email us at [email protected] for more information.
- Bow Tie - We always prefer a freshly tied tie, but they can be tricky so best to find a good pre-tied option or learn to tie one well in advance of the wedding.
- Don't forget to get your groomsmen in on the action. Purchase theirs as a groomsmen gift and that way you all can help each other on the wedding day.
- Tuxedo Shoes - Black patent leather with laces is a classic choice but matte black is a modern take on the tuxedo ensemble.
