How do you open the jacket pockets?Updated 8 months ago
To keep your jacket protected during shipping, it will arrive with tack stiching on the back vents as well as all welt pockets. On most suiting, your tack stitching will be on your breast pocket, & your vents. All you will need is a seam ripper which you can buy for a couple of bucks online or at your local variety store. You simply pull along the thread line and the seam should open up nicely. If you're someone who only uses x-acto knives or one from your kitchen for everything you can always ask a tailor to remove it for you when your take your items to be hemmed and steamed. Your pocket will be fully functional after this is completed.
While you should alwawys remove the tacks on your vents before wearing your jacket, we recommend keeping the pockets sewn shut unless you need to use them for a cleaner look.
